Smilebooth
People love seeing pictures of themselves. Well, they love seeing flattering pictures of themselves. More than that, they love seeing themselves let go and be exuberant and bright. It’s not about Narcissus looking in the water — staring in a mirror isn’t the same as having your picture taken. That’s why Whitney founded Smilebooth. He saw that there was a difference there, the millisecond difference between seeing your image in a mirror and when you see your photo after posing in front of a Smilebooth. That’s where the magic lives: in that tiny fraction of time that let’s you let go of yourself —that instant when you take off your mask. Smilebooth has been the name in the photo booth world since 2005 and shows no signs of slowing down. What started as a booth for weddings has grown up to be a social media machine, providing visual engagement for gigantic festivals with 360 degree booth installations, flying drone photographers; instant, lossless GIF and video sharing, and beyond.
